Jared Anderson

Dear Bella Soul Board:

I am sincerely honored to have been selected as a recipient of the Anderson and
Stowell Bella Soul Scholarship for the 2021-22 academic year. My name is Jared
Anderson, and I recently graduated from Auburndale High located in Central
Wisconsin. I will be pursuing a career of accounting at the University of
Wisconsin-Stevens Point in the Fall. As my career progresses, I hope to gain valuable
experiences with opportunities to attain leadership positions like management roles
within a company or even become an owner of my own Accounting Firm.

As I start my education at UWSP, I am very thankful for receiving the Anderson and
Stowell Bella Soul Scholarship. I plan to explore work-study opportunities when I
enroll in college. I was born premature and diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. I
understand there are employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities,  but
they may not be as prevalent for those without disabilities. This scholarship allows
me to cover the cost of my education while also allowing me to find the correct job
that accommodates my needs. Lastly, you have reduced my financial burden, which
helps me focus on my academics and not worry so much about paying for college. I
hope one day that I will also be able to help willing and ambitious students reach
their goals in achieving a higher education by assisting them in the same way you are
helping me. Thank you very much for your generosity!
